Website privacy notice

Last updated 1 November 2026.

This notice covers the website quanta-io.com. The site collects nothing about you: it has no forms, no accounts, no cookies, no analytics and no tracking.

Who is responsible

Quanta is run by Aram Bahbouh, an individual developer based in the European Union, who is the data controller for anything described here. Contact: info@quanta-io.com.

What happens when you visit

The website is hosted by Cloudflare. The sample papers and the Leap shown on the home page are loaded from our content storage, also at Cloudflare (R2), the same storage the app uses. Like any web server, Cloudflare receives your IP address and basic request details, such as the page or file requested and your browser type, in order to deliver them. Cloudflare keeps these under its own short retention periods; we do not export or store them, combine them with anything else, or use them to identify you.

We do not use Cloudflare's or anyone else's analytics, advertising or tracking services, and we set no cookies.

On your device

If you use the light or dark switch, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it next time. It stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can remove it by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Links to papers

Each card links to the original paper through doi.org, which takes you to the publisher's website. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

Account emails from the app

If you open a password-reset or email-verification link sent by the Quanta app, the page it opens on this site passes the one-time code in that link to Google Firebase Authentication to complete the action. This is part of your Quanta account and is covered by the app's privacy policy.

If you email us

We use your message only to answer it, and keep it no longer than needed for that.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask what data we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted. For this website that is, in practice, only an email you sent us. Write to info@quanta-io.com; we answer within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of the EU country where you live or work.

The app

The Quanta app has its own privacy policy and terms of service.
